City boutique iLaw, which has a focus on businesses and entrepreneurs, especially in the tech sector, announces a major addition into its commercial/technology practice.
Commercial and technology law specialist Mark O’Halloran has joined the firm to strengthen its offering to technology and media clients.
Before moving to iLaw, Mark spent six years at regional heavyweight Coffin Mew as Head of Commercial & Intellectual Property and was previously General Counsel to Tokyo Electron Europe Ltd, the leading manufacturer of semiconductor production equipment. Mark acts for clients in the engineering, medical, consumer and media sectors, and takes a particular interest in emerging green solutions, circular supply chain operations and recommerce/recycling businesses.
iLaw has been operating at the forefront of technology law since its foundation 15 years ago, and already has specialisms in areas such as data protection and privacy, blockchain and crypto-currency and technology licensing.
iLaw director Justin Ellis commented: “I’m delighted that Mark has joined the iLaw team, as he brings invaluable experience in one of our specialist fields. His practice both strengthens and broadens our offering in technology law. With demand moving ever more quickly towards greener solutions, Mark’s interest in that area is also bound to be of interest to our clients.”
