Arezou is a Senior Associate in iLaw’s disputes team. Arezou completed her training contract at a leading international law firm in the City of London and qualified in September 2011.
Since qualifying Arezou has gained extensive experience in international arbitrations having advised on matters for some of the world’s largest shipping companies, commodity and energy trading clients in LCIA, ICC and LMAA proceedings. Arezou’s commercial litigation experience encompasses arbitration related applications including challenges to Awards. She also has experience in substantive commercial disputes in the High Court and Court of Appeal. Arezou’s experiences in transactional matters have involved advising on energy related projects, with an emphasis on the oil and gas sector.

Arezou studied Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science, she also obtained a Masters in Public International Law at the same institution, passing with Distinction.
Arezou is fluent in Persian and conversational in Spanish.
